Arthur Lane Hayden Fernley - Passed away at his home in Fernley NV at the age of 93 after a bout with COVID 19. He was born January 20, 1927 in Englishtown New jersey, he spent his life in Watsonville CA. He is Preceded in death by his wife Doris Hayden, his mother and father; Mae Belle Hayden & George R. Hayden. His brothers Henry S. Hayden and Albert J. Hayden and two sisters Edith Culp & Ruth Morris. He is survived by his children; Dana Hayden Levan and her husband Charles E. Levan of Fernley Nevada, Son Henry (Hank) Hayden and his wife Jennifer Hayden, La Salva Beach, CA; Daughter, Sandra Duff of Washoe Valley and Daughter Shelle Alsip and her husband Jim Alsip of Fernley NV. He is also survived by his 7 grandkids, 21 great grandkids, and 5 great-great grandkids. Arthur, known by his family and friends as Art enjoyed painting up until the weeks before his death. He also enjoyed flying his drones, gold panning, and maintaining his independence by riding his scooter around town. At 93 he was very tech savvy and stayed up to date with all the "happenings" on Facebook. Services will be held on January 6th at 1pm at the Fernley Veterans Cemetery. He served in the Merchant Marines during World War II and the Air Force during the Korean war.
