Dale Rawlins Tufford July 9, 1941 - Nov. 19, 2020 OKLAHOMA CITY Dale Rawlins Tufford, 79, died Nov. 19, 2020. He was born July 9, 1941, in Hobart, OK. He is survived by Peggy, his bride of 56 years, who he met on a blind date and married on July 5, 1964. He is survived by his son, Kerry Tufford, wife Abbie and daughter Zoe, of Norman; and daughter, Amy Tufford & Jimmy Gaultney, of Del City. He is also survived by his sister, Wanda Groves, and niece, Patricia Groves, of Houston, TX; and his in-laws, Victor & Vicki Woods, of Gotebo, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bartie & Sally Tufford, of Hobart. He was in the Navy for three years, received a B.S. degree from OSU, a master's from UCO. He taught science at Jefferson Middle School for 37 years. Dale was a Deacon at Mayridge Baptist Church, where he was a member for 44 years. Brother Charles, his church family, friends and neighbors have been very supportive to the family during this difficult time. A memorial is planned for their 57th anniversary in 2021.
