Margaret Von Tungeln Feb. 7, 1921 - Nov. 19, 2020 OKLAHOMA CITY Margaret F. Tunison Hartmiller Von Tungeln died Nov. 19, 2020. She was born on Feb. 7, 1921, to Frank W. & Grace Ryan Tunison in Oklahoma City. She graduated from Our Lady's High School and attended Mount St. Scholastica College, Atchison, KS. She worked for many years at Pan American Petroleum Company prior to it becoming part of British Petroleum. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph J. Hartmiller; her husband, Lloyd Von Tungeln; her siblings, Olive Tunison Freeny and Leonard T. Tunison; and her niece, Margaret F. Molinari. She is survived by her nieces, Elizabeth Tunison Land, Nancy Tunison Gormley, Mary Louise Freeny Ullrick, Carolyn Freeny Simpson, and Joanne Freeny Bushman, and their children. Other survivors include her stepchildren, Vicki and Ron Hobson and Steve and Susan Von Tungeln, and their children. The family would like to thank Myrna and Jerry Ragsdale for their many years of friendship to Margaret. Also thank you to Mylanie Adua, Megan Harrington, Helena Harmon, Virginia Allen, Tertia Cooks, and Precious Cooks for the wonderful care they provided. A special thank you to Mercy Hospice nurse, Wendi Jakubiak. A private family Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020, at Christ the King Catholic Church with entombment to follow at the Resurrection Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
