Van E. Greenwood Sept. 20, 1960 - Nov. 16, 2020 MOORE Van Edward Greenwood died unexpectedly Nov. 16, 2020, in Oklahoma City at the age of 60. Van is survived by his wife of 36 years, Marie; sons, Ryan and Marc; grandchildren, Kolton, Shelby, and Sebastian; aunt, Velma Whitaker; sisters, Sundae Bue, Faith Wooldridge, Leah Greenwood, and Melody Warren. Preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Mae Budd; his father, Stanley Warren; and two brothers, Matt and Andy Warren. Van was born Sept. 20, 1960, in Newark, NJ to Stanley Warren and Dorothy Mae Budd. He joined the United States Air Force in 1978 and married Marie Sorensen in Greece, before having Ryan in Georgia and Marc in Texas. After moving to Oklahoma City in 1992, Van began working for Tinker AFB in various avionics positions. His children remember him as a dedicated father who did everything he could to help them be successful in life. He was passionate about both his work and his family. Services 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 23 at Moore Funeral and Cremation, 400 SE 19th St., Moore, OK 73160.
