Elizabeth "Betty" (Webster) Penner CANANDAIGUA - Elizabeth "Betty" (Webster) Penner, age 95, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020. She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Ann (Peter) Morris and Shawn Anderson (Bill Mallory); four grandchildren, Nathan (Jasmyn) Morris, Allison (Wyatt) Merrill, Rachel (Paul) VanThof and Ian Anderson; two great-grandchildren, Finn and Madigan; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Willis K. "Bill" Penner in 2010; and two siblings, George Webster and Helen Whittaker. Betty was born in Canandaigua and was the daughter of Lewis and Ida (Sullivan) Webster. She was a graduate of Shortsville High School. Betty retired from Labelon Corp. in Canandaigua after many years there. She was a member of St. Mary's Church and St. Vincent dePaul Society. Betty enjoyed playing bridge, dominos, painting (art), Canandaigua Lake and spending time with family and friends. Her memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church at a later date and time to be announced. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Canandaigua. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Benedict Parish for St. Mary's Church, 95 N. Main St., Canandaigua, NY 14424; Ontario County Arts Council, 20 Fort Hill Ave., Canandaigua, NY 14424; or American Heart Association/Stroke Association, PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220.
