BUSHNELL - Marion M. Osborn, 78, Bushnell, died at 10:51 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb. He was born Jan. 25, 1942, in Banner Township to Marcus W. and Idola I. (Elwood) Osborn. He married Joan E. Tucker April 19, 1974, on the family farm in rural Marietta; she survives. Also surviving are his children Pam (James) Lloyd of Morganton, Georgia, LaVerne (Monica) Osborn of Morganton, Teresa (Russell) McGrew of Walnut Grove, Laurie Osborn of Macomb, Todd (Pam) Osborn of Berwick, Patty (Phil) Mason of Bushnell and Becky (Chad) Ebey of Good Hope; grandchildren Ally (Eric) Magee, Chance McGrew, Terra Osborn, Ezra and Eliott Mason and Tyler and Alexis Ebey; and one great-granddaughter, Lydia Magee. He was preceded in death by his parents and two grandsons, Yance and Wesley McGrew. He was a member of the Walnut Grove Methodist Church, holding several offices; and the Bushnell Odd Fellows #322, holding several positions, including grandmaster and grand secretary. He farmed until 1984 and later became an insurance agent and Realtor before retiring. After retiring he drove a school bus for the Bushnell School District, his favorite job of all. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 23, 2020, at the Bushnell Township Cemetery with Pastor Dean Reeverts officiating. Memorials can be made to the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church, Bushnell Odd Fellows #322 or a charity of the donor's choice. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, masks are required at all times and we ask those in attendance to please remember to social distance.
