The Lord called Willie Mae Harris home peacefully on Wednesday, November 11, 2020. Mrs. Harris was a dedicated teacher. She taught in the Birmingham City School System for 42 years, until she retired. She leaves to cherish her memory: sons, Arthur Warren Tigner (Vanessa) of Birmingham, AL, Brian Harris (Nayda) of Long Island, NY, and Vonnie Harris, Jr. (Guadalupe) of Houston, TX; daughters, Yvonne Sanderson (Reginold) of Harvest, AL, and Yvette Kinds (Leonard) of Birmingham, AL; seven grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, sister, Carolyn Doak; brother, Sherman Conaway; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
