Jeffery Alan Ehasz GLADYS, VA Jeffery Alan Ehasz, 61, of Gladys, VA, died Thursday, November 12, 2020, at Lynchburg General Hospital, VA. He was the husband of Doreen Ehasz for 30 years. He was born December 27, 1958, in Phillipsburg, NJ, a son of the late Betty Hartung and Andy Ehasz. He was a retired applications programmer for CoreNet in Stroudsburg, PA. Jeff was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed the challenges of bow hunting and fly fishing. He was a member of the Staunton River Wildlife Club. Friends knew him as a skillful carpenter who enjoyed making furniture as well as restoring several barns and outbuildings on his property in Virginia. He grew up on a dairy farm and loved his dogs, horses, and chickens. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Geelen and her husband, James, of Colorado Springs, CO; four grandchildren, Khaleesi, Ava, Courtney and Justin; two brothers, Steven Ehasz, II and his wife, Barbara, of Belvidere, NJ, and Dave Hartung of Alpha, NJ; two sisters, Dolly Ehasz of Stewartsville, NJ and Terri Hartung of Hamburg, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Earl Hartung of Belvidere, NJ; a sister, Eileen Walker of Easton, PA; and a nephew, Steven Ehasz, III of Belvidere, NJ. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church, Gladys, VA.
