Patricia Ann Good Palm Springs - Patricia Ann Good, RN, CCRN (nee Donohue) of Palm Springs died Friday October 30. Born on April 2 1947 in New York City, Patricia grew up in Belle Harbor and Rockaway, Queens, attending Stella Maris High School. She graduated from Bellevue/NYU School of Nursing in 1967. Later she attained the CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) credential. She worked at many New York area hospitals as an Intensive Care nurse, including Bellevue, NYU Medical Center, Maimonides and Lutheran. Patricia moved to Palm Springs with her family in 1983. In the Palm Springs area she worked at Desert Regional Medical Center, Eisenhower and Hi Desert Medical Center. Her nursing career spanned 26 years and included roles as head nurse and nursing supervisor. At age 46 she suffered an aneurysm and became paraplegic. She lived independently as a wheelchair user for 27 years. In later years she volunteered as a nurse at the Mizell Senior Center. She enjoyed many skilled hobbies including painting, music, home decor and needlepoint. Former spouse Harold Good lives in Dunedin, FL. She is survived by a son, Brian Good of Kensington CA, a daughter, Linda Ware of Poulsbo WA, and two brothers: John Donohue of Reeders, PA and Joe Donohue of Satellite Beach, FL.
