Ann Gilmore Southport - Ann Elizabeth Cauley Gilmore passed from this life and went unto her heavenly home on November 14, 2020. She was 82 years old. Ann was born May 18, 1938 to Joseph Melvin Cauley & Lizzie Lee West Cauley in West Bay, FL. She spent her childhood there and loved to fish and scull the waters of West Bay. In the spring of 1956 she graduated from Bay High School and later that year in October she married Lloyd Lee Gilmore. They made their home and have resided in Southport, FL ever since. She loved being a homemaker and caring for her family, and she also enjoyed fishing, crabbing, and good game of Scrabble. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Southport. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Melvin Cauley & Lizzie Lee Cauley; her siblings, Gertrude Cauley Bludworth, David Kermit Cauley, Hilliard "Tince" Cauley, Pearla Cauley, Jack Cauley, Frances Ruth Cauley McCarthy, and John Melvin Cawley: her sister-in-law, Judy Lovett; and her brother-in-law, Gerald Gilmore. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Lloyd Lee Gilmore; her children, Roland Lee Gilmore (Koni), Debra Ann Lovett (Edmond), Joseph Lloyd Gilmore (Crystal), David Wesley Gilmore, and Trisha Kay Mitchell (Wayne); 9 grandchildren, Adam Lovett, Joey Duck, Ruth Vosbrink (Jeff), John Lovett, Ashley Sanders (Clint), Jared Gilmore, Lee Gilmore (Taylor), Melissa Mitchell (Ryan), Jacob Mitchell; 4 great- grandchildren, Bayvin Vosbrink, Miriam Vosbrink, Addie Vosbrink and Rowan Audrey Sanders; one sister-in-law, Diana Cowan McQuagge; special nieces & friends, Patsy Cauley Moates & Alice McCarthy-Spikes; and numerous other nieces, nephews, and relatives. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at First Baptist Church of Southport with the funeral services to follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jeff Vosbrink officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pall bearers: Adam Lovett, John Lovett, Lee Gilmore, Jacob Mitchell, Clint Sanders, Marcus Cowan, and Steven Cowan.
