Nancy M. LaBar TATAMY Nancy M. LaBar, 77, of Tatamy, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, November 12, 2020. She was the wife of James M. LaBar. Nancy and her husband celebrated 55 years of marriage on July 10th. Born in Nazareth, she was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Lorraine (Dorney) Metzgar. Nancy was a graduate of Nazareth High School, Class of 1961, and attended the former Churchman Business School in Easton. For many years she worked in the textile industry for Kraemer Textiles in Nazareth. Nancy was also employed by Valley Federal Savings and Loan, Easton, and International Women's Apparel, Forks Township, prior to retiring. An avid bowler, Nancy bowled for many years in leagues at Blue Valley and Warren Lanes, and she enjoyed bowling trips to state and national tournaments with her friends. In addition to her husband, James, Nancy is survived by two sons, James M. LaBar and his wife, Lisa, of Tatamy, and Jeffrey M. LaBar and his wife, Melissa, of Upper Nazareth Township; three grandchildren, Robert A. LaBar of New Oxford, PA, Ashley M. LaBar of Peoria, AZ, and Olivia R. LaBar at home; a brother, Sterling Metzgar and his wife, Robin, of Upper Nazareth Township; nieces and nephews. Nancy was predeceased by three brothers, Sherman, Gary and Walter Metzgar. Services are private and at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, in the Village of Moorestown - Bath.
