In memory of
Dianne Ross White
Dianne Ross White Realtor, adoring grandmother, enjoyed making people happy Dianne Ross White passed away peacefully, surrounded by her son and daughter, Monday, Sept. 28, 2020. Dianne was born on April 6, 1944 in Los Angeles, Calif. She graduated from Chadwick School in Palos Verdes, and was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Syracuse University. She began her career as a second grade teacher, and for the past three decades was an award-winning realtor with Weichert Realty in Short Hills. Dianne received many honors and awards over the years, including the New Jersey Association of Realtors (NJAR) Circle of Excellence, NJAR Distinguished Sales Club (lifetime), Weichert President's Club, Weichert Ambassador's Club, and Weichert Million Dollar Club. She was named a 5-Star Real Estate Agent by NJ Monthly Magazine in multiple years. Her clients praised her as being persistent, honest, hard-working, detail-oriented and, most importantly, genuinely concerned with their specific needs and desires. As one client said: "Because of her, we can enjoy this house, see our kids grow and find life beautiful." Her friends, colleagues, clients and family will remember her as an intelligent, selfless person who most enjoyed making other people happy. She never missed sending her grandchildren cards and presents for their birthdays, Christmas, and Easter. She delighted in receiving calls from them and hearing about their accomplishments, no matter how big or small, and seeing pictures of their smiling faces. She was active at The Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township where she greeted members every Sunday-always impeccably dressed, sharing her warm smile and open heart. She will be remembered as an incredibly proud and resilient beautiful woman (inside and out) who did not want anyone to "fuss over" her. Dianne is survived by her loving children, Michael (Diana) White of Greenville, S.C., and Debra Anne White (Chris Campbell), of New York City and Hermosa Beach, Calif., along with her adored grandchildren, Leo and Lindsay White, and Quinn Campbell. She is also survived by her sister, Marcia Strong, and brother, Alan Ross. A celebration of life is planned for Saturday, October 24 at 2 p.m. at The Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township, with Rev. Heather Morrison Yaden officiating.
