In memory of
Marion Goodford Bavos
Marion Goodford Bavos Will be remembered for her caring ways and kindness Marion Goodford Bavos, 92, passed away peacefully on Oct. 7, 2020, at JFK Haven Hospice. Born in 1928, to John and Estelle Goodford in DuBois, Pa., she was a longtime resident of Westfield, N.J. A wife, mother and grandmother, all through her life, she was beloved and surrounded by family - whether that be for a simple game of cards, exploring garage sales or hosting holiday dinners. She will be remembered for her caring ways and kindness. Everyone was welcome in her home and she took loving care of those close to her. She was determined and independent minded all her life. Known for her quick wit and humor, she could always be counted on to speak her mind. She traveled across the country and throughout the world, and would live on her own up until the end. Marion is survived by her husband of 64 years, Pasquale M Bavos; six daughters, five son-in-laws, six grandchildren, and her beloved nieces and nephew. Arrangements are in the care of Memorial Funeral Home. Due to the pandemic the memorial service is private.
