Peter A. Antonellis
Peter A. Antonellis Fairfield resident, spent his career with UAW in many roles, 91 Peter A. Antonellis, 91, of Fairfield, NJ, died October 16, 2020. He had spent his career in a variety of positions in the UAW, retiring in 1994. He went on to become president of the Region Nine UAW Housing Corporation, where he tirelessly worked for the rest of his life. Pete is lovingly survived by his sons, Joseph, Peter and Daniel; his daughter-in-law, Sandra; his grandchildren, Brittany, Peter, Erin, Danielle, Santo and Alicia; his great-grandchildren, Francesca, Elia, and Donato; and his sister, Mary Thornton. He was predeceased by his wife, Rosina; and his siblings, Anthony Antonellis, Donato Antonellis, and Lucille Piselli. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 4-8 pm at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains, NJ. A funeral Mass will be held (Time to be determined) Wednesday at St. Luke's R.C. Church, Ho-ho-kus, NJ. Burial will follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations to Orphan Sponsorship International would be greatly appreciated by the Antonellis family.
