In memory of
Barbara Collins Knowles
BURLINGTON - Barbara Collins Knowles , age 92, of Burlington, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at The Oaks of Alamance in Burlington. Barbara was the daughter of the late Sam Collins and Harriet Logan Collins Reynolds. She was married for 63 years to the love of her life, Bill Knowles, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Knowles Hagood and her husband, Jeff, two grandsons, Matt Hagood and Bryan Hagood and his wife Misty, and one precious great-grandson Jack. "Bobbie" loved to talk, loved giving "Grandmommie" parties, sending cards, reading her Bible and celebrating life. She loved her special friends, "The Girls" and their families, and had many treasured memories of times spent with them. She was a resident of Manor Drive in Greensboro for over 30 years and cherished her neighborhood friends there. A graveside service for family and friends celebrating her life will be conducted by Rev. Jeff Hagood on Saturday, October 24 at 1:00pm at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greensboro. The family would like to thank the Hospice team that served her these last days and all her extended family at The Oaks of Alamance. She will be missed, but the hole in our hearts is filled by loving memories. Online condolences may be made at www.forbisandick.com
