Charles F. Simard
Charles F. Simard entered into eternal rest on October 13,2020 at the age of 78. He was born and raised in the Hungry Hill section of Springfield where he attended local schools and was a 1960 graduate of Commerce High School. Charles went on to honorably serve his country in the United States Air Force which included a 12-month assignment in Viet Nam. He held several clerical positions during his career retiring from EB Tech after many years of service. Charles enjoyed collecting antiques and decorating his home. He could often be found gardening or watching golf and tennis. Charles was an avid card player and spent many hours of play at the Agawam Senior Center. He was a devout Catholic frequently attending Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church. He will be greatly missed by his brother Thomas Simard and his wife Lynne of Feeding Hills; his sister Judith Beauguard of Agawam; his nephew Bill Beauregard and his nieces Christine Simard and Debra Lyster. Burial services for Charles will be held at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 1 P.M. on Tuesday October 20,2020.
