James B. Temme Evansville, Ind. - James B. Temme, 92, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Friday, October 16, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. Jim was born in Evansville, Indiana on July 2, 1928 to the late Clinton and Lillian (Reutter) Temme. He attended Central High School and retired from Lex Company after 31 years of service. After retirement, Jim enjoyed traveling with Hilda to nearly all fifty states and spending quality time at their home at Lake Barkley. He was a Mason and a member of the Hadi Shrine where he played bass drum for the Drum and Bugle Corps for many years. Jim was a man of faith and was a dedicated member of Old North United Methodist Church. Jim is survived by his wife of 74 years, Hilda (Mollenkamp) Temme of Evansville, IN; daughter, Susan Bailey (Fred) of Evansville, IN; son, Daniel Temme (Nancy) of Evansville, IN; and by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jim was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Wiggs; and by his parents. Private services and entombment were held at Oak Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 4400 Clayton Ave., St. Louis, MO, 63110.
