Francis A. "Frank" Buttaccio Jr.
Francis "Frank" A. Buttaccio, Jr. Greece - Passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020. Predeceased by his parents, Francis A., Sr., and Anna (Canonico) Buttaccio; siblings, Ralph (Kay) Buttaccio, Florence (Joe) Hoffman, and Agnes (Sam) Valenti. Frank is survived by many nieces; nephews; great and great-great nieces and nephews; many beloved cousins; and friends, especially Linda (Dave) Fantuzzo-Smith and Tom Ahrens. Frank is a Veteran of the US Army. He loved opera, plays, traveling and, along with his sister, Florence, their long-running Monday night dinners. Frank especially liked the trips to Europe with his cousins, Rose Jeanne and Chris Strakal; the annual August 15 party and fireworks at his cousin's, Paul and Sharon Ferindino. Frank worked for B.Forman, Sibley's and retired from the US Postal Service. As per Frank's expressed wishes, there was no wake. Frank's Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 24, 10:30 AM at St. Mark's Church, 54 Kuhn Road, Rochester, NY, 14612. Due to Covid-19, facial covering, social distancing and no physical contact will be in effect at all times. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Mark's Church or a charity of choice to feed and cloth the poor.
