James C. Shortridge, 80, of Dillsburg passed away Friday, October 16, 2020 at the Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill. He was born February 18, 1940 in Rowe, VA the son of the late Granville and Maudy (Street) Shortridge. James was retired as the commissary manager for the Carlisle Army Barracks and served his country in the U.S. Army. He is survived by one son, Gregory J. Shortridge of Carlisle; one daughter, Jennifer J. Grimm of Dillsburg; four grandchildren, Gracie, James, Sydney and Jackson; one brother and seven sisters. Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 897, Hershey, PA 17033.
