Lloyd "Lou" L. Nestler, Jr., 78, Masonic Village, Elizabethtown, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2020. Born in Harrisburg on December 26, 1941, he was the son of the late Lloyd L. Nestler, Sr. and the late Anna C. Nestler. He was a 1959 graduate of Hershey High School, attended Hershey Junior College, and earned a degree in Industrial Arts Education from the Millersville State Teachers College in 1963. He taught high school in Lancaster and at Susquehanna Township; worked as an estimator, project manager, and vice president of the Harrisburg construction firm H.B. Alexander & Son, Inc.; owned and operated Wildlife & Country Classics, in Long Level; and served as Director of Construction, Department of General Services, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In retirement, he lived in the Fort Myers, FL area for 15 years, returning to Central PA in 2016. He found enjoyment in collecting antiques, hunting, boating, fishing, and carving waterfowl & fish decoys. He is survived by a sister, Loretta A. Matz, of Middletown; a son, Scott Nestler (Kristin), of Granger, IN; and a daughter, Linda Iagnemma (Tony), of Hummelstown; and was "Pops" to four grandchildren: Alexis, Nicholas, Anna, and Sophia. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to Lancaster County Conservancy, 117 South West End Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17603-3396. www.pennlive.com/obits
