JOAN BARBARA PACHOTA
PACHOTA, JOAN BARBARA 1939 - 2020 You will forever be in our hearts. It is with deep sorrow and much love that the family of Joan Pachota, (81), of Venice, FL., formerly Ann Arbor MI., announce her passing on Thursday, October 8, 2020. Joan is survived by her husband of 59 years, David Pachota; children Edward (Frances), Susan Rizzi (Anthony), Ann Martinuzzi (Kevin); grandchildren David Pachota; Giuseppe, Kateri, Nicolo and Thomasina Rizzi; Anthony (Mary) and Kevin (Chelsea) Martinuzzi; and great-grandson Bradley Martinuzzi; her siblings, Joe, Theresa Lewanski, Tom, Jerry, Bill (Rose), Mike (Mary) Paul (Patty) and Margie Makowski; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Genevieve Makowski and her sons, Steve and Jimmy. Although she passed unexpectedly, her life lessons and radiant smile will forever remain with us. She loved her family unconditionally, cherished her friends, and raised her children in the Catholic faith. Her generosity and kind words were abundant. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at Epiphany Cathedral. Interment will be in Michigan. Eternal rest grant to her, O Lord; and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Institute for Advanced Physics, PO Box 15030, Baton Rouge, LA 70895. Please sign her online guestbook at www.farley funeralhome.com .
