Arlene Ruth Nagy Arlene Ruth Nagy went to be with the Lord on Sunday October 11, 2020 peacefully in her sleep in New Jersey. She was the wife of the late and beloved husband Albert L. Nagy, Sr for 60 years. Born on July 11, 1930, in Bangor PA. She was the daughter of the late Ethel Kneebone and Arthur Repsher of Bangor PA. Arlene was a very loving mother to two sons, Albert L. Nagy, Jr. and wife, Penelope of Aberdeen, NJ. and the late Alex J. Nagy survived by his wife, Gail of Knoxville, MD. Arlene was so immensely proud of her seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Benjamin Nagy, Jennifer Nagy-McDermott and her husband Mathew, Heather Nagy-Bischoff, Jasmine Runkles-Venture and her husband Joel, Erin Nagy-James and her husband Andrew, preceded in death Alex J. Nagy III, Tiffany Nagy and her fiancé Eric O'Hanlon. Great grandchildren, Elijah, Andrew, Juliet, Addison, Caleb, Alexia, Braden, Kenadie, Josette, August, and Seattle. Arlene always took the opportunity to listen and loved them all unconditionally. Arlene is also survived by her brother and sisters, Gertrude "Gert" Crisani, Butch Repsher and his wife Barbara, Leona Smith Repsher and Irene Nagy Schoulgh sister-in law. Proceeded in death by brother Glenwood Repsher, Kenneth A. Repsher, George Repsher, and Hilda Repsher Snyder Arlene was employed as a sewing machine operator in the slate belt before her and husband left Pennsylvania for Alberts work in Maryland. Raising the two boys in Maryland and settling in Harpers Ferry, WV, in 1974. They joined Manning's Assembly of God where Arlene was an active member in the Women's Ministries and Missionett's. Arlene was a loving devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. Arlene enjoyed camping, attending church, crafting ceramics, and enjoyed making candy for all occasions or fundraisers, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She had a pure heart and never failed to make you feel welcome by bringing a smile to everyone she met. Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2020, at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV. Graveside services and interment will take place at 2pm on Friday, October 16, at Brownsville Church of the Brethren Cemetery, 1911 Rohrersville Rd., Knoxville, MD 21758. A celebration of Arlene Nagy's life will take place directly after the service at the Brownsville Church of the Brethren outdoor Pavilion. The family has asked for all to wear a face covering and be respectful of social distancing. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to Salvation Army get contact this morning .
