Peggy J. Hunter, 83, of Birmingham passed away peacefully at home on October 8, 2020 surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her mother Leland Johnson and daughter Stacy Hunter. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Don Hunter, daughter Sharon Hunter Gore (Chuck), grandson Carson Gore, and her beloved twin sister, Betty O'Barr. Peggy was active in the Civitan Club, she loved to travel, and enjoyed playing bridge with her lifelong friends. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Trussville on Wednesday, October 21st with a 1:30 visitation and 2:00 service. Special thanks to her hospice nurse Tracy and caregiver Babs for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to First Baptist Church of Trussville or The Big Oak Ranch.
