Michael J. Hutchinson
Michael J. Hutchinson, passed away quietly surrounded by his loving family, on Monday October 12, 2020, at the age of 66. Michael was born in Worcester, MA. on April 10, 1954 and was the son of the late Karl R. Hutchinson and Sylvia E. (Laperriere) Hutchinson. Michael is also preceded in death by his brother Donald Hutchinson and his sister Claire Outten. Michael is survived by his brothers Robert L. Hutchinson and his wife Marcia of Harrisburg, Karl W. Hutchinson and his wife Elizabeth of Loveland, CO., Kevin L. Hutchinson and his wife Amy of Johnstown, CO., John J. Hutchinson of Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by his sisters Mary Richardson and her husband David of Jefferson, MA. and Dorothy Hutchinson of Washington state. Michael graduated from the Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind in 1972 and was dedicated and involved member of deaf community for all of his life. Michael was also a member of Astronomical Society of Harrisburg and truly enjoyed gazing at the stars and especially enjoyed observing solar and lunar eclipses at any and every opportunity. Last but by no means least, Michael always found time to root for his beloved Denver Broncos. The passing of Michael will not only leave a large void in the lives of his family and friends, but will do so in the lives of all those who had the honor and privilege of knowing him. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Michael on Friday October 16, 2020 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 410 E. Simpson St., Mechanicsburg PA 17055 at 11A.M, Reverend Thomas Rozman, officiating. Friends and guests are welcome to call on the family between the hours of 10:30 A.M. and 11:00A.M., prior to the service, for a brief period of visitation. All are welcome and invited to attend.
