Marianne Brady Faithful member of her church; enjoyed painting, knitting Marianne Brady, 84, of Center Valley, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020, while in the care of St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John and Agnes (Montag) Painter. Marianne was a faithful member of Assumption BVM Church, Bethlehem. She loved painting, knitting and enjoying a good glass of red wine with friends and family. Marianne will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Megan Wetzel and her husband, Joseph of Beverly Hills, Calif., and Mara Miller and her husband, Thomas of Milford, N.J.; grandchildren, Jessica Wetzel and Liam Miller and her sister-in-law and friend, Sigrid Painter of San Rafael, Calif. Marianne was loved by many nieces, nephews and so many wonderful friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Louis Painter and Jack Painter and her former husband, Richard T. Brady. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17 at Assumption BVM Church, 4101 Old Bethlehem Pike, Bethlehem, Pa. 18015. For any family and friends unable to attend the Mass, it will be recorded and may be viewed on Marianne's obituary page on Saturday afternoon. Marianne's arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at cantelmifuneralhome.com .
