Mr. Larry R. West Panama City Beach - Mr. Larry R. West age 72 of Panama City Beach, Florida passed away peacefully in Jackson Hospital on Sunday, October 11, 2020. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee on August 20, 1948. Larry proudly served his country in the Vietnam War as a Petty Officer 2nd Class in the United States Navy. He moved to Panama City Beach, Florida in 1988 where he became a car salesman for Cook Whitehead Ford. He loved his job and worked there many years. Larry enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR. His greatest joys were his grandchildren and great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, I.D. West and Dot King West; one brother Rally West. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of fifty-two years, Millie West of Panama City Beach, Florida; two children, Randy West (Meredith) of Panama City Beach, Florida and Cam Lindemann (Mike) of Navarre, Florida; two sisters, Sharon Tomlinson (Jim) and Pam Yoder, both of Lebanon, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Justin Lindemann, Taylor Lindemann, Adrian West, Tucker West, and Camille West. He is also survived by one great-granddaughter, Analeia Lindemann and a host of other family members. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 26, 2020 at the Marina View Park (4701 Bay Point Road, Panama City, FL 32408) with Pastor Craig Hicks officiating and Navy Honors.
