Margaret "Peggy" Carroll
Margaret "Peggy" Carroll FAIRPORT - Peggy passed away peacefully, with her loving family by her side, on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2020. She was predeceased by her parents; George and Lucille Johnson. Peggy is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Thomas Carroll; children, Jeffrey Carroll (Phillip Hans), Alan Carroll (Susan), Kevin Carroll and Meg Kumbatovic (John); five grandchildren, Christopher Bechle, Colin Carroll, Shane Carroll, Elizabeth Carroll and Joseph Kumbatovic; sister, Mary Jane Bohrer; sister-in-law, Patricia Kaczmarek; brother-in-law, Thomas Kaczmarek; nieces, nephews and other loving relatives; and many dear friends. A woman of strong Catholic faith, Peggy was a deeply devoted person who would do anything for her family and friends. After raising her children, she worked for 18 years at the Daily Messenger newspaper in Canandaigua.   There will be no calling hours. Peggy's funeral Mass will be celebrated today (Wednesday) at 10 a.m. at Church of the Assumption, 20 East Avenue, Fairport. Interment will be in Whitehaven Memorial Park, Fairport. In lieu of flowers, and in Peggy's memory, donations may be made to the Wilmot Cancer Center at Strong Memorial Hospital.
