Patricia Jean Hoxie
Hoxie, Patricia Jean March 10, 1926, was welcomed at Heavens' Gates by her husband, Orville, on her way to meet her Lord and Savior on September 15, 2020. Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Orville D. Hoxie, her eldest daughter Cora Sue Jefsen, and her son Tom Hoxie. She is survived by her sister Jo (Jerry) Krueger, her children, Sandra (Larry) Snellink and Mary (David) Burns. Patricia's grandchildren, John Burt, Jennifer Davies, Patricia (Geoff) Payne, Claire (Tim) Roy, Morgan Hoxie, Elizabeth Landry, Tom Burns, Lily Burns and 11 great grandchildren. Patricia was married to Orville for 65 years, they were high school sweethearts. They not only shared great love for one another, but were friends and partners. Patricia was a proud graduate of Creston High School; Class of 1944, a charter member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church, and a member of the Woman's City Club of Grand Rapids. She enjoyed spending time through many charitable acts, including volunteering at Blodgett Hospital.
