Wayne F. Williams FORKS TOWNSHIP Wayne F. Williams, 73, of Forks Township, formerly of New Jersey, peacefully passed away on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2020, at his residence, with his loving companion, Alice, by his side. Born in East Orange, NJ, he was the son of the late Fred L. and Alveta M. (Burger) Williams. Wayne was a graduate of Union High School, Class of 1965. He also attended Kean College and earned a certificate from the Newark School of Fine Industrial Arts. Wayne honorably served in the United State Army Reserve during the Vietnam War era. Prior to his early retirement in 2000, he was employed by the UFCW Local 464A Union in Little Falls, NJ, where he was a pension and welfare administrator for several years. A baseball enthusiast from his early playing days, Wayne was an avid Yankee and Mickey Mantle fan. Wayne is survived by his daughter, Gina N. Scialla and husband, Carmen Sr., of Ringoes, NJ; three grandchildren, Andrew, Carmen, and Leah; his sister, Cheryl A. Williams of Easton; and his companion of 16 years, Alice Meixsell, with whom he resided, and her children, Denise and Michelle, as well as her six grandchildren. He was predeceased by his former wife, Theresa A. (Travisano) Williams, in 2015. A Public Visitation for relatives and friends will be held on Saturday afternoon, September 19, 2020, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, Village of Moorestown - Bath, PA 18014, immediately followed by a Private Memorial Service at 2 p.m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a maximum of 25 people will be permitted on a rotating basis with social distancing and facial masks required. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at nationalmssociety.org George G.
