Malgorzata (Strojek) Federkiewicz, 47, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Holyoke Medical Center, with her loving family at her side. Born in Sarzyna, Poland on January 21, 1973, daughter of Eugenia (Dabek) Strojek and the late Stanislaw Strojek, she was raised and educated in Poland and has lived locally for twenty years. Margorzata was a communicant of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus, Bishop & Martyr, and worked at Mount Holyoke College. She was an avid gardener, and greatly enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends. Malgorzata is survived by her beloved husband of twenty-five years, Zbigniew J. Federkiewicz; loving mother, Eugenia Strojek of Poland; cherished sons, Maciej, Daniel and Adrian Federkiewicz, at home; sisters, Wieslawa Stachula and husband Stanislaw of Poland, Anna Hydzik of Poland, and Barbara Gramatyka and husband Robert of France; brother, Krzystof Strojek and wife Anna of France; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mieczyslaw and Wanda Federkiewicz; many loving sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 11AM in St. Stanislaus Basilica. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
