"Hubb" was a true friend to everyone and his loving smile was his calling card. Born in Bessemer, he graduated high school in the 1979 Class of Jess Lanier Tigers and attended Tennessee State and Miles College. Ralph worked with Bessemer City School for 26 years. Immeasurable service was granted at Old St. Paul Baptist Church where he served with the Usher Ministry. Siblings, Curtis, Billy and Jean and an uncle, Mason Askew, Jr. preceded him in death. Precious memories remain with sisters, Brenda Dudley and Litelia Fletcher; aunt, Eva Arrington; cousin, Breana Reese Pippens, sisterly cousin, Geraldine Reese and numerous cousins and friends. Life Celebration is Noon Friday at Highland. Calling Hours at Johnson Memorial, Bessemer Thursday Noon until 8:00.
