Shaffer, Jeffery 9/10/1951 - 9/10/2020 Howard City, MI Jeff Shaffer, age 69 of Howard City passed away peacefully September 10, 2020 at his home with his wife by his side. He was born September 10, 1951 in Williamston, MI to Lyle and Juanita (Shotwell) Shaffer. Jeff worked at Challenge Mfg. until he started to get ill. Jeff loved spending time with family and friends and always looked forward to spending time with his grandchildren. He loved fishing, camping, boating and hunting. He was an all-time fan of the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers. Jeff loved music, playing his guitar and dancing. He is survived by his wife Kim of 16 years, Children, Renea (Collin) DeWitt and Josh Wireman, Grandchildren, Madison, Landon and Mason, Brothers and Sisters Chuck (Priscilla) Shaffer, Paul (Linda) Shaffer, Dorothy (Tom) Allen, Kim (Tom) Muenzenmeyer and Syb Shaffer, Sisters In Laws, Nancy Misner and Penny (Wade) Rowley as well as his lifelong friend Matt (Sue) Beirmaker and many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Lyle and Juanita, his brother Harold and nephew Jeffrey. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. A celebration of life will be held at his brother Chuck's home on Wednesday September 16, 2020 from 1pm to 3pm.
