In memory of
Maggie Rowton Keith
KEITH, Maggie Rowton On May 18, 2020, we lost our beloved daughter, mother and wife, Margaret Jane (Maggie) Rowton Keith, suddenly, from undiagnosed Small Vessel Disease, at her home in Portland, Oregon. Predeceased by her father, Khent Hancock Rowton and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles "Word" Baker, and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Rowton, she leaves her loving son, Charles Bennett Keith, her husband Martin James Keith and her adoring parents Barbara and Jon Page, Sr., her brother Philip Rowton (Sherri) and her step-siblings, Lynne Page Clarke (Mitch), Jon Phillip Page, Jr. (Laurel) and Thomas Hughes Page (Elizabeth). Maggie was born on February 11, 1969 in Austin, Texas, but grew up in Highland Park, attending Bradfield Elementary, McCulloch Middle School, graduating from Highland Park High School in May, 1987. She attended the University of Colorado where she pledged Kappa Kappa Gamma. She found her life's passion working in the fashion industry. She started in retail, ie: Barney's NY and DKNY/Neiman's, where her work ethic, creative mind and enthusiasm propelled her eventually to New York. Thus began a career working for fashion leaders including Ralph Lauren Polo Jeans, Armani X, and finally Nike. She excelled in all facets of her life. Her love for, and bond with, Martin and Charlie was her driving force. Her leadership skills, work standards, team building and creative talents were recognized by Nike as Vice-President and General Manager of Apparel, North America. Her commitment to living a loving, inclusive life of caring for others, attracted many friends and fans. We will love and miss her every day and remember her smile, quick wit, quicker mind for solutions to problems and laugh. May everyone be blessed enough to know someone so talented, sharing and dynamic. Daughter, wife, mother, sister, mentor, confidant, friend and leader---a Life Well Lived!!!!!! A Celebration of Life honoring Maggie will be hosted by Nike via Zoom on Friday, September 18, 2020 at 12:00 (noon CDT).
