Stuart Britt Sweeden April 4, 1965 - September 1, 2020 OKLAHOMA CITY Stuart Britt Sweeden was born to Pat Aloway Sweeden and Billy Roy Sweeden on April 4, 1965 in Shawnee, OK. At the age of six, Elmer Gaeddert became his loving step-father. Britt was the beloved brother of Michael Sweeden and William Chuck Sweeden. The three brothers had an unbreakable bond of love, affection and caring which they shared with their mother Pat. Britt was a Draftsman and Project Manager Director for R.B.A. Architectural working on numerous projects state-wide, like the Artesian Hotel in Sulphur, OK. He attended OCCC in OKC and Wichita State University in KS. His talents were many in the artistic field. He participated in several juried art shows, including Paseo Arts Festival and Edmond, OK 4th of July Art Show, as a black and white photographer. Britt had a private showing of his work at 50 Penn Place in OKC. He was also a talented painter and won awards for his painting. He was a shining star with a tremendous kind heart. Anyone could come to his home for help or he would go to them. He was the host for the Annual Family Reunion of our large extended family. Britt will be missed for his loving and giving heart. He was preceded in death by his step-father Elmer Gaeddert and grandparents Charley and Vida Aloway, and Bill and Marguerite Sweeden. He is survived by his mother Pat Aloway Gaeddert, Oklahoma City, and two brothers, Mike Sweeden and Chuck Sweeden, Oklahoma City; step-brother and sister-in-law Tony and Margee Gaeddert, OKC; uncles and aunts, Tim & Kim Sweeden, Stillwater, OK, Lillian Peltier, OKC, Melvin & Jo Aloway, Glenpool, OK, Jo Kemp, Euless, TX, Jan King, Edmond, OK; 25 cousins and special friends Patsy & Tom Cowan and Sonja & Scott Casey; and many, many friends. Son Seth Sweeden & grandson Preston Sweeden, Chandler, AZ; niece Brandy & Joey Sparks, Yukon, OK, nephew Ryan & Staci Sweeden , Weatherford, OK; and nephews Brian Gaeddert, Overland Park, KS & Christopher Gaeddert, Olathe, KS. A Celebration of Life will be held on October 1st, 2020 at 4:00PM with live streaming video at Crown Heights Christian Church, Reverend Aaron Krueger officiating. In lieu of flowers the f amily requests donations to the Crown Heights Christian Church Outreach Fund, 4020 N. Western, OKC 73118.
