AnnMarie Bentley
AnnMarie Bentley April 5, 1941 - Aug. 31, 2020 AnnMarie (Cusimano) Bentley, passed away after a seven year battle against dementia. She is survived by her partner of nearly 18 years, Chuck Jones; her son, David Cook; two brothers and their wives, Johnny and Jackie Cusimano and Jim and Betty Cusimano; and several nieces and nephews. AnnMarie was born and spent her early years in Rochester, N.Y., where she attended Catholic grade school and St. Joseph's Business School. She married Wayne Cook, who moved the family to Lake Oswego, Ore., in 1974 then to Anchorage, Alaska for four years and back to L.O. She worked for over 23 years in the real estate industry, finishing her career with Windermere Properties. The major tragedy in her life was the loss of her 46-year-old daughter, Susan in 2011 Since July 2018 we have lived at Mary's Woods retirement center in L.O., In February we moved her into the memory care unit at Mary's Woods. However, we felt it would be best to move her from Mary's Woods and there was no place locally so in April, we moved her to Athens, Ga., close to her brothers. She passed in Saint Mary's Hospice House. She and Susan will be interned at 11 a.m., Sept. 25, 2020, River view Cemetery. There will be a short service outside for no more than 50 people. And due to the current situation we must ask anyone that wishes to attend to please RSVP to jones.chuck@gmail.com. The service will also be provided on Zoom.
