Mr. Robert Theodore "Bob" Santos
Mr. Robert "Bob" Theodore Santos, age 78, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2020. He was born November 12, 1941 in New Bedford, Massachusetts to Joseph Santos and Edna Allard Santos. Mr. Santos was a resident of Freeport, Florida. He was Catholic by faith and a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Freeport, Florida. He was a veteran of the Vietnam era, serving his country in the United States Air Force with over twenty years of service before retiring as a First Sergeant. He also worked as a helicopter mechanic for the United States Navy contractor. Mr. Santos was preceded in death by his father and mother; and his sister, Shirley Aviail. Mr. Santos is survived by his loving wife, Ina Marie Santos; two sons, Joseph B. Santos and wife Becky and Rene R. Santos; his daughter, Heidi M. Williams and husband Derrick; his sister Nancy Massaro; six grandchildren, Marcus B. Williams and wife Morgan, Corey S. Williams, Devin S. Williams, Olivia E. Santos, Joshua R. Santos, and Joe E. Santos; and one great-grandchild, Skylar E. Williams. A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, September 18, 2020 at Christ the King Catholic Church; 15542 U.S. 331, Freeport, Florida 32439 with Father Michael Hartley officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org/donate Burial will follow in Hatcher Cemetery with Military Honors by the United States Air Force.
