Hill, Victor Victor A. Hill (Vic) age 77, of Grand Rapids passed away on Monday September 7, 2020 at home after a nine-month battle with cancer. Through it all, he never lost his sense of humor. Vic was preceded in death by his parents Axel and Helen Hill, brother Jack Hill and in-laws Frank and Esther Siegel. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Rose Marie "Rosie". He will be greatly missed by his children Pam (Jeff) King, Joellen (Jim Postema), Vicki (Todd) Boonstra and Craig (Amy) Hill, his grandchildren: Joshua King, Adrienne (Rueben) Powell, Emily, Jared, Joel and Mallory King, Sami (Grant) Childs, Jake Boonstra , Brandon, Bryce and Brady Hill, his great grandchildren: Aliyah, Camya, Rueben, Maci and Henry. Vic owned Lewandoski Market for 33 years. He loved spending time up north every weekend. Vic had a great time performing with his friends in their band "The Eschelons". Vic was a member of St. Mary's Church and St. Bernard Church. He was a people person and touched many lives. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday September 15, 2020 11:00 am at St. Mary's Church. His family will receive visitors Monday September 14, 2020 from 5-8 pm at the Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Rd. NW. and Tuesday from 10-11 am at church. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Mary's Food Pantry. A special thanks to Faith Hospice for their help and guidance though Vic's final days.
