Leonard Henry Kovall Palisades - Leonard H. Kovall (Lenny), passed away on August 22, 2020 at the age of 97. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. He was predeceased by his wife Edith Kovall, and his brother Henry Kovall. He is survived by his 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Judy Kovall of Glenmont, NY, Richard and Diane Kovall of Endicott, NY and Michael and Mary Jane Kovall of Tappan, NY. Lenny is also survived by 9 grandchildren and almost 11 great-grandchildren. Lenny was born in NYC July 9, 1923. He lived most of his adult life in Orangeburg, NY. He was a Port Authority Police Officer for 23 years and then worked as a salesman for Kent Plumbing Supply for over 30 years. He proudly served in the Navy on the USS Sanctuary during WWII as a plank member on this ship. Lenny loved his "WONDERFUL" family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Cedar Park Cemetery, Paramus, NJ. Memorial contributions may be made in Lenny's memory to Gift of Life, www.giftoflife.org .
