Carter, Jeffrey Grand Haven, Michigan Mr. Jeffrey Carter, age 64, of Grand Haven passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born October 20, 1955 in Grand Rapids to E. Claude and Georgia (Shippy) Carter. Jeff's greatest accomplishment was his children and he was very proud of them all. He loved his family, watching sports and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by seven children: Nathan (Kristen) Carter of Oxford, Joshua Carter of Grand Haven, Brett (Madison) Carter of Grand Haven, Kelsey Carter of San Jose, CA, Jacob Carter of Grand Haven, Mackenzie Carter and Gabrielle Carter both of Grand Haven; six grandchildren: Grant, Hendrix, Boone, Quinn, Dean and Crew; mother, Georgia Carter; sister, Claudia (Steve) London, and brothers, Daniel (Dawn) Carter, and Tim (Michelle) Carter; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, E. Claude Carter. A memorial visitation will be held 5-8 PM Monday, August 10, 2020 under the south portico at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 South Harvey Street.
