Virginia was born to Theodore and Pearl Fishbeck in Kalamazoo, Michigan on June 25, 1930 and passed away peacefully to be with the Lord at age 90. Virginia is a graduate of Michigan State University with a bachelor's degree in English and became a schoolteacher. Virginia enjoyed collecting antiques, hosting and entertaining friends and family, and spending time at their summer cottage on Gun Lake. Virginia and her husband James Lesinski loved and adored each other throughout their 70 years of marriage. Virginia was a devoted, caring, and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be remembered as sweet, gentle, caring, compassionate, and kindhearted. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, son (Douglas Lesinski), grandson (Cody Lesinski), and daughter-in-law (Diane (Gregory) Lesinski). Virginia will be missed dearly by her husband James and her children: Gregory Lesinski, Gordon Lesinski, David (Patricia) Lesinski, Mary Brittain, and Wade Lesinski. Also, grandchildren: Nick (Jennifer) Lesinski, Amysue Lesinski, Rebecca Brittain, Holly Lesinski, Douglas (Jessica) Brittain, Kelsey Lesinski, Rachel Bodnar, and Jake Lesinski. In lieu of flowers, we are encouraging donations to be made directly to the Carmelite Nuns of Ada (Carmelite Monastery 4300 Mt. Carmel Dr. NE, Ada, Michigan 49301). A private family mass will be held in Virginia's name, and a gathering to celebrate her life will be announced at a later date.
