Lester "Jack" Jackson Stanbery, Jr., age 89, of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020. Jack was born January 12, 1931 in Birmingham, Alabama to Cora Belle Hannah Boyte and Lester Jackson Stanbery, Sr. Jack is a member of All Saints Episcopal Church and a graduate of Georgia Tech University. He was a Korean War veteran of the United States Air Force. Jack was an Industrial Relations Manager at Celanese Corporation. Jack is survived by his wife of 68 years, Rose Ellen Stanbery; daughter Anna Twilley; grandchildren Christian Stanbery (Unique Pendergraft) and Samantha Bartlett (Nick), great-grandchildren Odysseus Lee James Stanbery, Olivia Jane Bartlett, and Van Oliver Bartlett, special niece Shannon Levy (Sam) and close friend Jim Nance and John Turnvelle. Jack was preceded in death by father Lester Jackson Stanbery, Sr. and mother Cora Belle Hannah Boyte; sisters Anna Claire Richey, Laura Jane, Elizabeth Reid, and Cora Belle Reid.
