AUDREY CLAIRE EMRICK March 22, 1932 ˜ July 19, 2020 Audrey Clare Emrick passed away peacefully from respiratory failure on July 19, 2020 at the age of 88 in Medford, OR, Audrey was born in Juneau, AK, on March 22, 1932 to Clair and Dorothy Krogh. They moved to Seattle, WA where she graduated from Ballard High School in 1950. Later in life, she went to college and earned an Early Childhood Associates Degree from Clark College in Vancouver, WA. She dedicated her life to working with young children, through college early education programs, Headstart, Southern Washington ESD, helping to develop other programs in southern Oregon and most recently, the Foster Grandparent program where she spent the last 13 years in the same classroom at Jackson Elementary School up until schools closed because of COVID 19. She was a dedicated member of the Jacksonville Presbyterian Church, and sang in the church choir. Audrey is survived by her daughter, Michele Wolf (Jim), Medford, John Emrick, Vancouver, Brian Emrick (Sandra), Clatskanie, OR, Rod Emrick, (Kaya), Troutdale, OR, as well as 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A celebration of life has been delayed because of current circumstances. Donations can be made to the DOVE radio and television station in Medford. Please share a memory @ www.columbian.com/obits
