Audrey M. Kirchgessner Retired paralegal; loving aunt who will be 'dearly missed' Audrey M. Kirchgessner, 85, of Verona, N.J., passed away peacefully on July 29, 2020. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 31, at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Cedar Grove, N.J. Kindly meet directly at church. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair, N.J. Services have been entrusted to Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Ave., Cedar Grove. Memories and condolences may be shared at shookscedargrove.com . Audrey was born in East Orange, N.J., to Arthur W. and Catherine (nee: Meehan) Kirchgessner. She was an accomplished paralegal working for Francis X. Connolly of Connolly & Connolly in Bloomfield for many years. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Church. Audrey loved to read and was a member of two book clubs. She was predeceased by her parents and sister, Cathleen Wheat, and is survived by her loving niece, Linda Wilson; caring nephews, Robert Wheat (Joyce) and Donald Wheat (Sandy); and one grand-niece and four grand-nephews. Audrey will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Greater NJ Chapter, 23 Vreeland Rd., Florham Park, N.J. 07932 or www.alz.org .
