Francis Arthur Brenneck, 68 Family man and doting grandfather Francis Arthur Brenneck (aka Buddy), 68, passed away July 27, 2020. Born on Dec. 20, 1951, in Brooklyn, NY, to Francis Joseph Brenneck and Rita Brenneck, He grew up there, along with his five siblings. Buddy met his beautiful wife Theresa Fazio at Tottenville High School. They were soon married and welcomed a daughter, Theresa Ann, and then another daughter, Kathleen. Buddy was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was especially proud of his grandson, James Daniel. James Daniel loved to watch cartoons on his grandpa's lap in his mancave. Buddy had a green thumb and loved to be in the garden for hours. He spent many summers barbecuing at family get togethers. Pinnacle was his card game of choice when his siblings and nephews got together. His memory will be cherished and kept alive by his wife, Theresa; daughters, Theresa Ann and Kathleen; sons-in-law, Kristian and Andrew; grandson, James Daniel, and siblings, Christine, Stephen (Diane), Kevin (Lori), and Mary (Michael); his sister-in-law, Patty; brother-in-law, Anthony (Jeanne), and many nieces and nephews he loved dearly. He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Michael. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at Scalia Funeral home for the Brenneck family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Friday at St Clare Church, located at 110 Nelson Ave., Staten Island, NY 10308. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, NY. The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2020, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
