Gayle N. Mutton PEN ARGYL Gayle N. Mutton, 82, of Pen Argyl, passed away, Monday, July 27, 2020 at Slate Belt Nursing and Rehab Center, Washington Township. She was the wife of the late Richard H. Mutton, who passed away, March 27, 1980. Born at Easton Hospital, October 14, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Garfield "Butch" and Mildred (Sullivan) Williams, Sr. Gayle was a 1955 graduate of Pen Argyl High School and attended East Stroudsburg Teachers College. Prior to retiring, she was employed as an office clerk and cashier at the former Laneco. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Pen Argyl, she served as President of the Residents Council at Slate Belt Nursing and Rehab Center and she formerly was a poll worker for the 2nd Ward, Pen Argyl. She is survived by three daughters, Melanie M. Sineath of Alexandria, VA, Kimberly L. Trigiani and her husband Vito of Roseto, and Tracy L. Hall and her husband Larry of Pen Argyl, two sons, Richard G. Mutton and his wife Lisa and Geoffrey R. Mutton all of Pen Argyl. She was lovingly known as Nain to her seven grandchildren, Taylor, Tylor and his companion Kelsea Coppola, Kirby and his fiancé Marie Murtha, Brady, Mutton, Carlee, Shayla and Tamra Hall, and her son in law, Craig R. Gillingham. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Nadine Mutton and Tammy S. Gillingham, two sons, Timmy and David E. "Buddha" Mutton, a brother, Garfield Williams, Jr., twin sisters, Janet and Janice Williams and a sister Charlotte Williams. Family and friends are invited to call, Thursday, July 30, beginning at 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Ruggiero Funeral Home, 126 E. Pennsylvania Ave., Pen Argyl. A Graveside Service will be held, Friday, July 31, at 12 noon at Fairview Cemetery, Pen Argyl. Due to current COVID-19 guidelines, face masks will be required and social distancing practices will be followed. On line condolences may be offered at www.ruggierofuneralhome.com .
