Andrea Kozodoy School teacher and homemaker Andrea Kozodoy of Somerset, N.J., passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at the age of 75 after a long illness. Andrea was a school teacher and homemaker who was active in her temple, womens' groups and school parent support organizations. She was born in the Bronx and raised in River Edge, N.J. She lived in Edison, N.J., for 35 years and then 16 years at Somerset Run in Somerset, N.J. She graduated from River Dell High School and in 1966, from Trenton State College (TCNJ). She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Felix; her daughter, Rebecca and husband, George Pins and grandsons, Aaron and Noah of Holden, Mass.; her son, David and wife, Andrea Kozodoy and granddaughters, Jenna and Haley of East Brunswick, N.J.; her son, Jonathan Kozodoy of Beloit, Wis.; her brother, Jeffrey and his wife ,Melissa Grudin of Ashland, Ore. Her greatest joys in the last 20 years were spending time with family, traveling with her husband and many friends and living in her retirement community. She was laid to rest on Monday, July 20 at the Beth Israel Cemetary, Woodbridge, N.J. Donations in her memory can be sent to either the TCNJ Foundation or Hadassah.
