JOSEPHINE LORETTA BARRETT October 1, 1926 ˜ July 10, 2020 Our beloved mother, Josephine Loretta Barrett of Vancouver, WA, died peacefully on July 10th, 2020, at the age of 93. She is now reunited with her loving husband of 68 years, Floyd LeRoy Barrett, who preceded her in death. She was born in Hempstead, NY, to parents Frank and Mildred Cardarelli. Josephine is survived by her children, Josephine & Stan Dawkins, Mildred & Cal Hittle, Sandra Hancock, Bud & Jenine Barrett, Kathi & Mike Thompson, Teresa & Dave Bishop; 27 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; and her cherished Chihuahua, Traci, all of whom she loved dearly. Josephine and her husband Floyd were longstanding members of St. John’s Catholic Church where Josephine sang in the choir, was a member of Catholic Daughters, and helped in many other church activities and fundraisers. She and her husband were also very active in the Clark County Grange Association. Josephine will be resting peacefully with her husband at Willamette National Cemetery.
