In memory of
Beverly Sandra Betti Morris Rowles
Beverly Sandra Betti Morris Rowles 1939 - 2020 Beverly, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, has passed from this life. A long-time resident of Palm Desert, Beverly Sandra Betti Morris Rowles was born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1939 and moved to California while still in high school. She had an older brother Eddie (survived by his wife Joanne Betti) and two loved younger surviving siblings, Deborah and Harold. She married Robert Morris in 1959 and, despite their divorce, loved him until the day he died. They had two children, Niki (the favorite) and Mark Morris (the other favorite). She married Richard "Dick" Rowles in 1974 and helped him raise his son John Rowles and loved both him and his sister Sue. Before moving to the Coachella Valley, she worked for many years in the Huntington Beach School District, where she kept everything from falling apart. After Dick passed away she had a special friend, Allie, who sadly passed away this last March. If you knew her, you knew when something delighted or pleased her, because it was the BEST. The BEST to sit by the ocean, the BEST to eat an ice cream cone, or the BEST to be with her family. Thankfully, we all got to celebrate with her one last time, at her BEST 80th birthday last fall. She leaves behind to mourn her passing her two children Mark (and wife Beth), Niki (and husband Jim); six grandchildren: Shaun (and wife Megan), Jimmy, Joey (and wife Sarah), Jenna, Fiona, and Eamon, as well as niece Michelle and her family and nephew Eric and his family, and John and Sue and their families, and one great grandchild, Claire; siblings Deborah, Harold, and Dennis, sister-in-law JoAnne, and many more. Mom, we love you, we miss you. You were the BEST. Wherever you may be, we hope there's plenty of sunshine, bagels and lox, and Paul Newman. And please save a pickle for us.
