DeVries , Roger Jay and Melanie Lin Roger Jay DeVries and Melanie Lin (Morris) DeVries were killed while on their motorcycle July. 11, 2020. Surviving are daughters Jennifer Jay (Matt) Zaleski and Hollie DeVries. Grandchildren Kaleb and Brooklyn Zaleski. Brother Dick & Jamie DeVries, 2 nephews. Roger graduated from Forest Hills & Melanie graduated from Northview High school. They were married 45 yrs. Parents Jerry & Joyce Morris, sister Mary Jo Morris, brothers Rick Morris (deceased) Bob Morris. Melanie was very talented and loved her crafts. Roger enjoyed taking & helping Vets go fishing. Roger & Melanie were always there to help other friends. Missed by Aunt Joyce, uncle & cousins & friends. Instead of flowers, donated to fund Croton Sportsman for youth and disabled vets which Roger & Melanie were very involved. CSYDV.org They will always be in our hearts & we miss them very much. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
