In memory of
Barry Jacobs
Barry Jacobs Defense attorney, proud family man Barry Jacobs, 64, of Montville, N.J., passed away peacefully on July 8, 2020. Barry was full of passion, especially for his three favorite things: his career as a lawyer, his love of art and most importantly, his family. A New York City defense attorney his whole career, Barry was a proud partner of Abrams, Gorelick, Friedman, & Jacobson. Outside of work, he was an avid supporter of art. But, most of all, Barry was a family man. His favorite moments included bragging about his twin daughters, catching up on the day with his sister, obsessing over his 10-month-old grandson, and telling anyone who would listen how much he loved his wife of 37 years, Lois. He was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Evelyn Jacobs. He is survived by his loving wife, Lois Jacobs (Fishman) and their twin daughters, Hillary Rosen (Jacobs) and Cara Jacobs; their husbands, Eric Rosen and Michael Kaminsky, as well as his favorite grandson, Blake Kaminsky and his favorite grand-dog, Norbs; his sister, Sharon Sulner (Jacobs); her husband, Joe Sulner; his niece, Beth Uriatre (Sulner); her husband, Rob Uriarte and his great-niece, Emma Uriarte and great-nephew, Ethan Uriarte. Donations in his memory may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
